Allwyn Corp is seeking a Mid-Level Accountant to perform detailed financial analysis, reconciliation, and review support under general supervision for a federal contract. Responsibilities include reviewing grant expenditures for allowability under 2 CFR Part 200, monitoring compliance, budgeting, and preparing SF-425, with experience in NICRA and indirect cost reviews preferred.
The position requires a Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance and 3+ years of federal accounting experience,
Mid-Level Accountants shall perform detailed financial analysis, reconciliation, and review support under general supervision.
U.S. citizenship or Green Card is required for this position due to federal contract requirements.
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field.
3+ years of experience in financial analysis, auditing, or cost accounting, and 3+ years of relevant federal experience.
Experience supporting government financial & accounting evaluations, with a strong preference experience in indirect cost rate reviews, cost allocation plans, or similar financial evaluations.
Knowledge of basic Federal cost principles and familiarity with 2 CFR Part 200.
Experience reconciling financial data & analysis/review of audited financial statements.
Ability to prepare clear and accurate supporting documentation.
The project is for a Federal agency and we need accountants with exposure to 2 CFR Part 200. Like professionals who understand federal grant financial management and compliance, not just general accounting.
An accountant supporting this work should typically have experience with the following:
Uniform Guidance requirements for federal grants and cooperative agreements.
Reviewing grant expenditures for allowability under 2 CFR Part 200.
Monitoring recipient financial compliance.
Reviewing budgets and budget modifications.
Preparing or reviewing Federal Financial Reports (SF-425).
Reconciling grant expenditures and drawdowns.
Assessing indirect cost rates (NICRA) and application of indirect costs.
Reviewing recipient internal controls and financial management systems.
Supporting grant closeout activities.
Assisting with audit findings and corrective action plans.
Providing technical assistance to grant recipients on financial compliance.
Demonstrated experience with Microsoft Excel and financial analysis tools.
Ability to work in a high-volume, time-sensitive environment.
Experience supporting cost and financial transparency & maintaining documentation sufficient for Federal review.
Ability to obtain and maintain required security clearance/credentials required to perform the job.
