Job summary

Trinzic, the spin-off from KBR’s Mission Technology Solutions, is seeking a Mid Astro Software Engineer in Colorado Springs to drive secure, end-to-end cluster and application lifecycles in cloud environments. You will collaborate with clients and teams to design containerization with Kubernetes or Docker, and build CI/CD pipelines with GitOps for automated, secure deployments.

You’ll work across Java, Python, and modern tools to enhance security, scalability, and operational efficiency,

Qualifications

• Secret clearance or above.
• 3–5 years of experience developing web-based applications.
• 3–5 years of experience with Kubernetes or Docker.
• Experience with Java and Spring Boot (REST APIs, microservices).
• Experience with AWS and cloud technologies.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevSecOps practices.
• Strong problem-solving and automation mindset.
• Experience with scripting languages like Python.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain applications using modern engineering practices.
• Work across stacks and support Kubernetes/Docker containerization.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines and GitOps workflows.
• Ensure secure development lifecycles and automated deployments.
• Collaborate with teams and maintain log management and analytics.
