Qualifications

• 5-10 years of experience building and deploying machine learning models in professional, research, or mission-oriented environments.
• Experience with integrating LLMs or AI APIs into applications, tools, or workflows.
• Experience in Python for AI/ML development and data processing.
• Knowledge of modern AI/ML development patterns including model integration, prompt engineering, and orchestration.
• Knowledge of data preprocessing, feature engineering, and model evaluation techniques.
• Ability to analyze complex problems and operate effectively in evolving technical environments.
• TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or Master’s degree with 3+ additional years of experience; or PhD with demonstrable applied AI/ML engineering experience

Responsibilities

• Develop and deploy AI/ML solutions for national security missions in secure environments.
• Collaborate with operators, analysts, software developers, and leadership to translate mission needs into AI-enabled capabilities.
• Explore LLM-powered workflows, agent-based automation, and other AI/ML solutions to streamline analytical tasks.
• Support integration of AI capabilities into existing systems with security and governance compliance.
• Contribute to data pipelines, model evaluation, workflow optimization, and production-ready AI solutions.
