Job summary

As an Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning Engineer (Mid), you will build and deploy AI-enabled workflows, including LLM-powered processes, to enhance decision-making in secure environments.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years of experience building and deploying ML models in professional or mission-oriented environments.
• Experience integrating LLMs or AI APIs into applications, tools, or workflows.
• Proficient in Python for AI/ML development and data processing.
• Knowledge of modern AI/ML development patterns including model integration, prompt engineering, and orchestration.
• Knowledge of data preprocessing, feature engineering, and model evaluation techniques.
• Ability to analyze complex problems and operate in evolving technical environments.
• TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph.
• Bachelor’s degree in CS/Data Science/EE/Math/Stats or Master with 3+ years of AI/ML experience; or PhD with applied AI/ML experience

Responsibilities

• Develop and deploy AI/ML solutions that enhance operational workflows.
• Collaborate with operators, analysts, software developers, and leadership to translate needs into AI-enabled capabilities.
• Create LLM-powered workflows, agent-based automation, and other AI/ML solutions for analytical tasks.
• Ensure AI capabilities are integrated into existing systems with reliability, scalability, and security in classified environments.
• Contribute to data pipeline development, model evaluation, workflow optimization, and production readiness.
