Job summary

Physicians Regional Medical Center—Pine Ridge Campus is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for MICU coverage on a PRN Days shift. You will provide comprehensive, patient-centered care, collaborate with physicians and the healthcare team, and ensure adherence to clinical protocols.

You will administer medications, monitor patients with complex conditions, educate families, and participate in emergency response activities including CPR and code team duties.

Qualifications

• 0-2 years of clinical nursing experience in acute care is required.
• RN state licensure in good standing is required.
• BCLS certification required; ACLS/PALS/NRP preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in accordance with policies and nursing process.
• Administer prescribed medications and monitor for side effects.
• Assist physicians during procedures within the scope of competency and skill.
• Document care and educate patients and families.
• Respond to emergencies and participate in life-saving interventions as needed.
• Maintain infection control and patient safety throughout all care activities.
• Engage in performance improvement and data collection to enhance patient outcomes.
