Job summary

Advocate Health's Nursing Critical Care MICU team seeks a dedicated RN to deliver high-quality care on a 36-hour weekly schedule with a 7p-7a shift pattern. The role emphasizes evidence-based practice, safety, and collaborative patient care across the continuum.

The ideal candidate has a BSN (preferred) and RN licensure with BLS, plus at least 1 year of clinical nursing experience. Telehealth responsibilities may be included where needed.

• Monitors patient conditions and updates care plans.
• Upholds a culture of safety.
• Communicates effectively and delegates appropriately.
• Completes required education and maintains certifications.
• Adheres to ANA Code of Ethics in patient care.
• Delegates to RNs, LPNs, and unlicensed staff.
• Maintains accurate EHR documentation.
• May float to other units as needed.
