Job summary

Methodist Hospital Metropolitan seeks a Registered Nurse for the Medical Intensive Care Unit (MICU) to ensure high-quality, efficient care. Join an amazing team that supports each other and advances patient care and the nursing profession.

We offer mentorship, national certification support, tuition reimbursement, and educational resources within a state-of-the-art unit with 24 beds and a 1:2 patient-to-nurse ratio, led by highly engaged physicians.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited diploma, associate, or baccalaureate nursing program.
• Six months of clinical RN experience minimum.
• One year of critical care experience preferred.
• Current Texas RN license or Texan Compact license with requirement to obtain TX license within 90 days.
• Current American Heart Association BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the patient care team to achieve quality outcomes.
• Provide communication, confidence, and professionalism in unit activities.
