Job summary

Vitruvian Health is seeking a MICU Registered Nurse to provide high-acuity nursing care for critically ill adults. You will monitor patients continuously, manage life-support tech, titrate meds, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to improve outcomes.

Required: RN license in Tennessee or Compact state, BLS and ACLS, 1–2 years acute care; ICU/step-down experience preferred. Diploma may be preferred; some positions are part-time with benefits.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an approved school of nursing evidenced by state licensure.
• Minimum 1–2 years of acute care or hospital-based RN experience.
• Current Tennessee or Compact State RN license; BLS and ACLS required; ACLS within 30 days if not certified on hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-acuity nursing care to critically ill adults.
• Continuous patient monitoring and life-support technology management.
• Titrate critical care medications and collaborate with the care team.

MICU Registered Nurse

Provides high-acuity, evidence-based nursing care to critically ill adult patients experiencing complex medical, cardiac, and multi-system conditions. You will be responsible for continuous patient monitoring, managing advanced life-support technology, titrating critical care medications, and collaborating closely with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to achieve optimal patient outcomes.

Education

Must be a graduate of an approved school of nursing as evidenced by verification of state licensure. Diploma preferred.

Experience

Minimum of 1–2 years of acute care or hospital-based RN experience strongly preferred. Prior ICU or high-acuity step-down experience is highly desirable.

Licenses/Certificates

Current Tennessee or Compact State registered nurse license required. Current BLS and ACLS required. If not ACLS certified on hire, must acquire within 30 days.
