Job summary

Hackensack Meridian Health is seeking an Assistant Nurse Manager for the MICU to support nursing leadership in executing strategic plans and improving patient care. The ANM will coordinate staffing, throughput, and clinical quality while guiding front-line staff under the Nurse Manager's supervision.

The role requires an active NJ nursing license, 3+ years nursing experience in the MICU or similar, and preferred CCU experience with leadership background.

Qualifications

• Requires current and valid New Jersey Nursing license.
• Minimum of 3 years recent nursing experience in respective specialty or equivalent.
• 5 years of Critical Care nursing experience highly preferred.
• Prior Assistant Manager or Supervisor experience highly preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate staffing and unit throughput.
• Support quality and safety outcomes and staff competency.
• Oversee hiring, clinical and staff corrective actions, and unit efficiency.
• Support the nursing leadership team in executing the organizational plan.
• Participate in unit and hospital decision-making with leadership.
