DMA Millwork in Atlanta, Georgia, is seeking a Microvellum Engineer to translate architectural drawings into production-ready shop drawings and CNC data using Microvellum. The role bridges the office, shop, and field to ensure projects are engineered efficiently, manufactured accurately, and installed successfully.

You will develop detailed shop drawings, generate CNC data, support production coordination, and collaborate with Project Managers on submittals and revisions.

Formación

• 2+ years of experience in millwork engineering, drafting, or cabinet design.
• Proficiency in Microvellum.
• Strong understanding of millwork construction methods and materials.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural and shop drawings.

Responsabilidades

• Produce detailed shop drawings from architectural plans and project specifications.
• Interpret design intent and resolve constructability issues.
• Coordinate with Project Managers for submittal packages.
• Create and modify Microvellum assemblies, libraries, and standards; generate cut lists, material reports, and CNC data.
• Maintain and improve company-wide Microvellum standards.
• Work with production to ensure drawings are buildable and efficient.
• Assist in troubleshooting fabrication issues; support implementation of new products, materials, and hardware.
• Coordinate with Project Managers and Coordinators on submittals, revisions, RFIs, and field adjustments.
• Incorporate redlines and approvals into final production drawings.
• Verify accuracy of dimensions, materials, and hardware selections; ensure consistency between shop drawings, CNC output, and field requirements.
