Job summary

Woodweb seeks a Microvellum Engineer in the Eastern US. Hybrid work option; US citizen required. Salary 85-100K+ plus benefits.

You will produce submittal drawings, interpret architectural drawings, support project management through fabrication and installation, and coordinate with purchasing.

Strong Microvellum skills and wood industry knowledge, proactive problem-solver with excellent communication.

Qualifications

• 5+ years using Microvellum in casework or related discipline.
• Ability to read, interpret, and convey architectural drawings.

• Knowledge of construction methods (dowel, mortise/tenon, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Interpret architectural drawings and sources to produce submittal drawings.
• Produce submittal drawings per specifications.
• Create clear, accurate information and manufacturing drawings.
• Maintain or exceed project schedules.
• Support Manufacturing, Installation, and other departments for project success.
• Coordinate with Purchasing on materials and specs.
• Prepare required paperwork for manufacturing and releases.
• Other duties as assigned.

Microvellum Engineer (Will consider Hybrid – US Citizen only)

Eastern US

Summary

Seeking an individual with strong Microvellum skills and experience. Must have solid working knowledge and understating of wood industry and related best practices. Will be responsible for performing at top level to provide submittal drawings and accurate drawings and information to support overall process from Project management through production and installation. Must be a self-starter, possess a positive, can-do attitude, excellent problem solver while thinking strategically about impact through the process.

Minimum requirements

• Minimum 5-years in Microvellum operating within a casework or related discipline.
• Ability to read, interpret and convey architectural drawings.
• Strong background in Engineering methodologies and best practices.
• Understanding or multiple construction methods (Dowel, mortise/tenon, etc.).
• Ability to manage multiple projects and effectively prioritize to ensure timely completion.
• Possess a high level of quality while meeting or exceeding schedules.
• Strong and disciplined work ethic.
• Demonstrates a strong problem solving.
• Positive, optimistic, can-do attitude and approach.
• Strong communication skills.
• Strong team player.

Responsibilities

• Understand and interpret information and drawings from Architectural drawings and multiple sources (PM’s, Estimating, material specifications, etc.).
• Produce submittal drawings in accordance with specifications.
• Produce clear and accurate information, drawings, and directions for manufacturing.
• Maintain or exceed schedules.
• Support Manufacturing, Installation, and other departments to ensure successful project execution.
• Work with Purchasing and other departments on material requirements and specifications.
• Produced needed paperwork to support Manufacturing and project releases.
• Other duties as assigned.
