Job summary

A growing technology firm is seeking a candidate for a full-time position in California focusing on Data Visualization and SQL development. The role requires at least 4 years of experience with MicroStrategy and SQL, along with a bachelor's degree. Candidates with knowledge of ETL tools and Tableau will have an advantage. U.S. Citizenship or Green Card is required. Good analytical skills and the ability to work in a diverse team are essential.

Qualifications

• 4 years of experience in Developing reports, dashboards, SQL queries, or metadata layers, using MicroStrategy.
• Experience in converting business data need into creative visualizations in MicroStrategy.
• Ability to write SQL for data mining that can be communicated to ETL developers.

Job Description:-

• 4 years of experience in Developing reports, dashboards, SQL queries, or metadata layers, using MicroStrategy
• Experience in converting business data need into creative visualizations in MicroStrategy
• Thorough understanding of Microstrategy architecture
• Partner with Business stakeholders with the goal of providing them with the ability to make decisions and gain insights through data visualization.
• Complete life cycle experience which includes requirements gathering, Data-model and how to best visualize their data, followed by design, deployment, and on-going enhancements
• Be able to write SQL to do initial data mining that can then be communicated or translated to peer ETL developers for database development
• Microstrategy-Hadoop integration would be highly preferred.
• Strong Analytical skills
• Data modelling, design & implementation based on recognized standards.
• Additional knowledge of Tableau will be a definite plus
• Experience in ETL tools (like Talend, Pentaho) preferred
• Experience and desire to work in a Global delivery environment
• Ability to work in team in diverse/ multiple stakeholder environment.
• Experience and desire to work in a Global delivery environment.
• Experience in financial domain.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications :-

• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
• At least 4 years of experience within the Information Technologies.
