Job summary

JMD Technologies Inc. in the Greater Holyoke Area seeks an experienced IT Systems Engineer to develop, administer, and support applications in a Microsoft environment across on-premises and cloud.

You will design, implement, test, and troubleshoot across the full stack, maintain system integrations, and lead change control processes while delivering robust IT solutions.

Candidates should have 5+ years of hands-on Microsoft experience, relevant certifications, and strong problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Computer Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience with the Microsoft technology stack.
• Strong experience with .NET, SQL Server, IIS, and Windows desktop/server OS.
• Experience with Microsoft 365, Power Platform, Active Directory, and Entra ID.
• Knowledge of networking and hosting fundamentals supporting complex IT environments.
• Current, relevant Microsoft certifications and experience working within formal IT change controls.

Responsibilities

• Build and support system integrations in partnership with technical SMEs.
• Design, program, implement, test, install, and configure applications.
• Troubleshoot production issues, identify root causes, and develop resolution plans.
• Identify and remediate IT vulnerabilities in a timely manner.
• Support users and technical staff while adhering to software and change management standards.
• Conduct knowledge-transfer sessions and contribute to ongoing application support.
