Softchoice is seeking a Microsoft Security Architect in the Professional Services group to design, plan, and architect identity management and workplace security solutions for enterprise and public sector clients. You will serve as the technical authority and lead engagements that upgrade, install, configure, migrate, and secure environments.

A strong background in cloud security, MS Defender products, and collaboration with Microsoft is required; travel up to 10% and 8+ years of client-facing

As the lead subject matter expert on identity management and workplace security, this role supports all aspects of design and service delivery, and facilitates technical workshops with our valued enterprise and public sector clients.You will design and deliver identity management and workplace security solutions that meet client requirements and timelines.You will serve as the technical authority to lead Identity Management and Workplace Security engagements, which would include upgrades, installations, configurations, migrations, security enhancement, administration, policy development, and user training. This will require a technical understanding of cloud security solutions including M365 Defender, Defender for cloud, and Sentinel.You will work closely with co-workers (internally), end-users (externally), and vendor representatives (Microsoft) on the installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of MS Teams, in accordance with contract SLAsYou will function as a technical expert, with strong customer interaction skills, and the ability to advise on, implement, and manage complex solution and service deployments for clientsYou will have a hunger for learning, and take advantage of the opportunities to pursue relevant certifications and training for Microsoft Endpoint Security and Identity ManagementYou will serve as a technical authority and subject matter expert for Softchoice, supporting other individuals and teams at trade shows, events, and speaking engagements that specifically require your technical expertiseYou will be a role model for our values of personal growth, customer passion, taking care of others & owning the end result.You will have the opportunity to work in a highly visible customer-facing role.You will have the chance to use your technology expertise, supporting a detailed, actionable Statement of Work with our architects, engineers, and project managers.

• Updated Certifications and training to include; Microsoft Certified Security Operations Analyst Associate, and Security Administrator Associate

A reasonable estimate of the current base pay range for this position in Texas & Chicago is $128,800 to $161,000 annually + 14% as target incentives.

A reasonable estimate of the current base pay range for this position in Florida & Denver is $122,360 to $152,950 annually + 14% as target incentives.
