Job summary

Softchoice seeks a senior identity and security consultant to design and deliver identity management and workplace security solutions for clients across North America. You will serve as the technical authority, guiding upgrades, configurations, migrations, and policy development with a focus on M365 Defender, Defender for Cloud, and Sentinel.

The role is customer-facing, includes mentoring junior staff, and requires ongoing certifications in Microsoft Endpoint Security and Identity Management.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in a client-facing professional services role, or 10+ years in related senior experience.
• Degree in Computer Science or Information Technology, or equivalent industry experience.
• Updated certifications: Microsoft Security Operations Analyst and Security Administrator.
• Willingness to travel up to 10%.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver identity management and workplace security solutions.
• Lead Identity Management and Workplace Security engagements as technical authority.
• Collaborate with clients, end-users, and Microsoft for installations and troubleshooting of MS Teams.
• Mentor Consultants, Engineers and Technicians on technical and soft skills.

Job description

What You’ll Do

• You will design and deliver identity management and workplace security solutions that meet client requirements and timelines.
• You will serve as the technical authority to lead Identity Management and Workplace Security engagements, which would include upgrades, installations, configurations, migrations, security enhancement, administration, policy development, and user training. This will require a technical understanding of cloud security solutions including M365 Defender, Defender for cloud, and Sentinel.
• You will work closely with co-workers (internally), end-users (externally), and vendor representatives (Microsoft) on the installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of MS Teams, in accordance with contract SLAs.
• You will mentor and develop Consultants, Engineers and Technicians on the team, and provide guidance on their technical skills, as well as the soft skills required for their success.
• You will function as a technical expert, with strong customer interaction skills, and the ability to advise on, implement, and manage complex solution and service deployments for clients.
• You will have a hunger for learning, and take advantage of the opportunities to pursue relevant certifications and training for Microsoft Endpoint Security and Identity Management.
• You will serve as a technical authority and subject matter expert for Softchoice, supporting other individuals and teams at trade shows, events, and speaking engagements that specifically require your technical expertise.

Compensation

A reasonable estimate of the current base pay range for this position in Texas & Chicago is $128,800 to $161,000 annually + 14% as target incentives.

A reasonable estimate of the current base pay range for this position in Florida & Denver is $122,360 to $152,950 annually + 14% as target incentives.

Actual salary will be based on a variety of factors, including location, experience, skill set, education, and related certification. The range for this position in other geographic locations may differ.
