Job summary

Softchoice in Florida is seeking a Microsoft Security Architect within our Professional Services team. You will design, plan, and architect identity management and workplace security solutions for enterprise clients, aligning with timelines and contract SLAs.

As the technical authority, you will lead engagements, coordinate with Microsoft and internal teams, and mentor others while pursuing relevant certifications in endpoint security and identity management.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver identity management and workplace security solutions meeting client requirements and timelines.
• Lead Identity Management and Workplace Security engagements, including upgrades, installations, configurations, migrations, security enhancements, administration, policy development, and user training.
• Collaborate with internal teams and vendor representatives (Microsoft) on installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of MS Teams per contract SLAs.
• Serve as a technical expert with strong customer interaction, advising on, implementing, and managing complex deployments.
• Pursue relevant certifications and training for Microsoft Endpoint Security and Identity Management.
• Represent Softchoice at trade shows, events, and speaking engagements requiring technical expertise.

As an Microsoft Security Architect within the Professional Services organization, you will have the opportunity to design, plan, and architect technology solutions based on the identity management and workplace security portfolio. As the lead subject matter expert on identity management and workplace security, this role supports all aspects of design and service delivery, and facilitates technical workshops with our valued enterprise and public sector clients.

You will design and deliver identity management and workplace security solutions that meet client requirements and timelines.

You will serve as the technical authority to lead Identity Management and Workplace Security engagements, which would include upgrades, installations, configurations, migrations, security enhancement, administration, policy development, and user training. This will require a technical understanding of cloud security solutions including M365 Defender, Defender for cloud, and Sentinel.

You will work closely with co-workers (internally), end-users (externally), and vendor representatives (Microsoft) on the installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of MS Teams, in accordance with contract SLAs

You will function as a technical expert, with strong customer interaction skills, and the ability to advise on, implement, and manage complex solution and service deployments for clients

You will have a hunger for learning, and take advantage of the opportunities to pursue relevant certifications and training for Microsoft Endpoint Security and Identity Management

You will serve as a technical authority and subject matter expert for Softchoice, supporting other individuals and teams at trade shows, events, and speaking engagements that specifically require your technical expertise

• 8+ years’ work experience in a client-facing professional services role, or 10 + years of related, progressively senior industry experience
• Updated Certifications and training to include; Microsoft Certified Security Operations Analyst Associate, and Security Administrator Associate

A reasonable estimate of the current base pay range for this position in Texas & Chicago is $128,800 to $161,000 annually + 14% as target incentives.

A reasonable estimate of the current base pay range for this position in Florida & Denver is $122,360 to $152,950 annually + 14% as target incentives.
