Microsoft Project Manager

As a Microsoft Project Manager, you will lead and deliver technology and process transformation initiatives across Microsoft-centric environments. Success in this role is defined by clearly scoped projects, aligned stakeholders, proactive risk management, and reliable delivery that improves collaboration, security, and operational outcomes.
What You’ll Do
- Plan and manage end-to-end project delivery, including scope, schedule, dependencies, risks, milestones, and resources
- Lead technology and process transformation initiatives aligned to business and operational outcomes
- Coordinate cross-functional technical and business stakeholders to maintain delivery momentum
- Manage Microsoft 365 / Office 365 adoption, migration, and modernization projects
- Maintain project plans, schedules, and documentation using Microsoft collaboration tools
- Provide clear status reporting, action tracking, and escalation management
- Facilitate project ceremonies including kickoffs, working sessions, and executive reviews
- Identify and mitigate risks and dependencies across multiple workstreams
- Support rollout, adoption, and change management activities
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Public Administration, Engineering, or related field
- 8–12 years of total professional experience with at least 5 years as a Project Manager
- Experience leading technology and/or process transformation initiatives
- Proven ability to manage projects from initiation through delivery
- Strong stakeholder coordination and executive communication skills
- Ability to manage timelines, priorities, and dependencies across multiple workstreams
- Comfort working in Microsoft 365–centric environments
- U.S. Citizen with ability to obtain and maintain an Agency Public Trust clearance
Preferred Qualifications
- Project Management Professional (PMP®)
- Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM®)
- PMI Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP®)
- SAFe® Agilist (SA) or SAFe® Program Consultant (SPC)
- Microsoft Certified: Microsoft 365 Fundamentals (MS-900)
- Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate
- Experience with technology modernization or organizational change initiatives
Work Model
Hybrid role with some travel to Danville, Virginia as needed.
Home base will be RightSeat.AI HQ in Ashburn, Virginia and/or remote after 90 days.
