Job description

We are seeking an experienced Power Platform Developer to lead the transformation of business applications to a Microsoft solution at a cabinet-level agency (also includes O&M). The management of the suite of applications is critical to the Agency's mission and will involve collaboration with various IT systems and stakeholders, including federal managers and contractors. The ideal candidate will exhibit strong management and technical skills, along with a deep understanding of the agency-contractor relationship. Prior experience working in a federal environment is essential.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Analyzing current system requirements and functionalities to inform the development strategy
  • Collaborating with management to create a comprehensive development plan for system transformation
  • Designing and developing applications using Microsoft Power Apps and Power Pages
  • Engaging with contractor and federal stakeholders to ensure alignment on project goals
  • Maintaining and updating contract SDLC documentation to reflect project evolution
  • Upholding quality standards through meticulous review of project deliverables
  • Assisting Project Managers in developing detailed work plans, schedules, and resource plans
  • Participating in technical meetings and providing general user support as needed
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in a related field from an accredited institution
  • 8+ years of technical experience, specifically in Power Apps and Power Pages
  • Proven experience working with federal agencies on IT systems
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban)
  • Experience in software release management
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite
  • Exceptional organizational, planning, and time management skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality deliverables
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • High level of professionalism, confidentiality, and integrity in client interactions
  • U.S. Citizenship is required; successful candidates must pass a Public Trust background investigation
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Master’s Degree or higher in a relevant field.
  • Technical certifications (Microsoft, CSM, Oracle, etc.).
  • Experience with Power BI, Power Automate, and Dataverse.
  • Background in technical writing.
  • Comprehensive SDLC experience.

Position: Power Platform Developer
Location: Anywhere in the U.S. (Fully Remote)
Base Compensation: We offer a competitive salary and benefits package, and we are open to discussing compensation based on your qualifications and experience
Other Compensation: 4% contribution to 401(k), performance bonus, profit-sharing
Paid Time Off: 16 days PTO/year, 11 holidays/year
