Job summary

Syren is seeking an experienced Microsoft Fabric Platform / Infrastructure Architect to manage and optimize a large enterprise Fabric environment in New Jersey. The role covers platform administration, architecture, performance tuning, production support, automation, and evaluating new Fabric capabilities.

You will oversee tenants, capacities, workspaces, data connectivity, and integrations with OneLake, Lakehouse, Data Factory, Pipelines, Spark, and Power BI, while applying strong Azure

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric Platform/Administration.
• Experience with Fabric Capacity Management and Performance Optimization.
• Experience with Fabric Workspaces, OneLake, Lakehouse, Pipelines, Spark, SQL Warehouse, and Mirroring.
• Strong Azure architecture and networking knowledge.
• Experience with On-Prem SQL Server, Gateways, Private Endpoints/Private Link.
• Experience with Fabric REST APIs and Python/PowerShell automation.
• Knowledge of Entra ID/RBAC, Git, Azure DevOps, and CI/CD.
• Strong troubleshooting, architecture, and production support experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage Microsoft Fabric tenant, capacities, workspaces, users, and domains.
• Monitor and optimize Fabric capacity, performance, utilization, and throttling.
• Manage and troubleshoot on-premises gateways and data connectivity.
• Support Fabric architecture across OneLake, Lakehouse, Data Factory, Pipelines, Spark, SQL Warehouse, Power BI, and Mirroring.
• Troubleshoot Azure networking, firewall, private endpoints/private links, and security issues.
• Automate Fabric administration using REST APIs, Python, and\/or PowerShell.
• Support Git, Azure DevOps, and CI\/CD processes.
• Provide day-to-day BAU\/production support and troubleshoot platform issues.
• Evaluate new Microsoft Fabric features and conduct POCs for enterprise adoption.
