Job summary

General Dynamics Information Technology seeks a seasoned MCM Engineer to support Government IT deployment and desktop engineering services in Annapolis Junction, MD or Sterling, VA. You will lead software deployment, patching, baselines, and IT configurations in an enterprise setting.

The role requires Top Secret/SCI clearance with polygraph, DoD 8570 IAT II certification, 8+ years of related experience, and strong SCCM/WSUS, VMware vCenter, Active Directory, MDT, and MCM expertise.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph.
• Must meet DoD 8570 IAT Level II requirements including one of: Security+ CE, CND, SSCP, GSEC, GICSP, CySA+, or CCNA Security.
• Bachelor's Degree in a related technical discipline plus 8 years' experience or equivalent.
• Expert level experience with SCCM and WSUS.
• Solid understanding of VMware vCenter.
• Functional understanding of Microsoft SQL Server and Active Directory.
• Expertise in MDT and MCM (capturing images, creating packages, advertisements, task sequences, OSD and queries).
• Familiarity with DISA STIGs for Windows OS
• Expertise with IAVA process including RMF release process, testing, approval, and deployment processes
• Solid knowledge of Active Directory Security Groups, OUs, DNS, and GPO management
• Microsoft SCCM / MCSE / Modern Desktop Administrator Associate (preferred)

• Developing and maintaining baselines images for servers and laptops to add the latest security updates, software versions, hotfixes, patches, etc.

In This Role, a Typical Day Will Include

What You’ll Need

• Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph

• Bachelor's Degree in a related technical discipline + 8 years' experience or the equivalent combination of education, technical certification or training, or work/military experience
• Expert level experience with SCCM and WSUS
• Solid understanding of VMware vCenter
• Functional understanding of Microsoft SQL Server and Active Directory
• Expertise in MDT and MCM (capturing images (WIM), creating packages, advertisements, task sequences, operating system deployment (OSD) and queries).
• Familiarity with DISA STIGs for Windows operating systems
• Expertise with IAVA process including RMF release process, testing, approval, and deployment processes
• Solid knowledge of Active Directory Security Groups, OUs, DNS, and GPO management

The likely salary range for this position is $148,750 - $201,250. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
