Job summary

DL Remote is seeking a Microsoft Compliance / Purview Consultant to deliver expert advisory and implement compliance solutions for enterprise clients. You will conduct workshops, provide technical guidance, and create detailed documentation, focusing on Purview, DLP, and related Microsoft 365 services.

The role requires several years of experience with Microsoft Compliance and GDPR, with strong German (C1) and English (B2) skills, and offers remote work within Austria with relocation/travel

Qualifications

• Several years of professional experience with Microsoft 365 and compliance solutions.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Compliance and/or Azure Purview components.
• Proficiency with O365 services: Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive.
• Solid understanding of EU GDPR (DSGVO).
• Basic understanding of Entra ID and Identity Governance.
• Experience with Defender, eDiscovery, Insider Risk Management, Audit Logs.
• Excellent German (C1) and English (B2) skills.
• Analytical mindset and effective communication abilities.

We are currently filling a role as Microsoft Compliance / Purview Consultant (m/f/d) at a rapidly growing IT consultancy that, among other things, specializes in innovative Microsoft solutions.

In this position, you will implement projects for various clients, advise, and conduct workshops on topics focused on Microsoft Compliance and/or Azure Purview.

We are looking for experienced Microsoft experts who have already gained several years of experience with Microsoft Compliance solutions. You should also bring very good German (C1) and good English skills (B2).

| WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Provide comprehensive expert consulting for our clients in the area of Microsoft Compliance solutions (including Purview, DLP, IRM, Records Management, Advanced eDiscovery, Audit, Communication Compliance, Information Protection)
• Develop, design, and implement robust compliance solutions specifically for enterprise architectures.
• Conduct workshops and targeted training sessions for end users and technical specialists.
• Provide technical support for complex questions and develop effective solution approaches.
• Create precise and detailed technical documentation as well as strategic concepts.
• Actively help shape the further development of our compliance portfolio and internal expertise.

| WHOM WE ARE LOOKING FOR

• Several years of professional experience as a Microsoft expert with a focus on Microsoft 365 solutions.
• Solid experience with Microsoft Compliance and/or Azure Purview components.
• Practical knowledge of Microsoft O365 services such as Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, and OneDrive.
• Sound understanding of data protection law, in particular the EU GDPR (DSGVO).
• Basic understanding of Entra ID (formerly Azure AD), especially in the area of Identity & Governance.
• Experience with other Microsoft Security and Compliance services (e.g., Microsoft Defender, eDiscovery, Insider Risk Management, Audit Logs).
• Very good German skills (C1) and good English skills (B2).
• Pronounced analytical and conceptual skills as well as strong communication skills.

| REMOTE WORK POLICY

In this role, you can work fully remote within Austria.

Should you need to relocate or travel for this role, your relocation or travel costs will of course be covered.
