Qualifications

• 10+ years of Enterprise or Solution Architecture experience in financial services.
• Hands-on with Microsoft Azure, Microsoft Fabric, Azure OpenAI/Azure AI Foundry, and Power Platform.
• Experience with .NET/C#, microservices, APIs, event-driven architectures, containers, and modern cloud architectures.
• Strong knowledge of Terraform, GitHub/GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, and AI-enabled developer experiences.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills, with experience creating reference architectures and technical standards.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Azure, Fabric, AI, .NET, Power Platform architectures.
• Design and support cloud modernization and enterprise app solutions across Azure, Fabric, and Power Platform.
• Help drive AI/GenAI strategy including Azure AI Foundry and related patterns.
• Support Architecture/Engineering Councils, CoE activities, and EARB submissions.
• Create reusable architecture assets, documentation, MCP servers, automation components, and tooling.

Our client, a leading financial services and asset management organization, is seeking a Microsoft Cloud Solutions Architect to join their Architecture team. As a Microsoft Cloud Solutions Architect, you will partner closely with the Chief Architect, Enterprise Architecture, and Engineering teams to drive cloud modernization, AI adoption, data platform strategy, and architecture standards. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, hands-on technical expertise, and strategic thinking that will align successfully within the organization.

What’s the Job?

• Partner with the Architecture team to develop and maintain Azure, Microsoft Fabric, AI, .NET, Power Platform, and integration reference architectures and standards.
• Design and support cloud modernization and enterprise application solutions across Azure, Fabric, and Power Platform.
• Help drive the organization's AI/GenAI strategy, including Azure AI Foundry, Azure OpenAI, Copilot, RAG, and agentic AI patterns.
• Support Architecture/Engineering Councils, CoE activities, and Enterprise Architecture Review Board (EARB) submissions.
• Create reusable architecture assets, documentation, MCP servers, Claude Skills, automation components, and developer/SDLC tooling.

What’s Needed?

• 10+ years of Enterprise or Solution Architecture experience, preferably within financial services or asset management.
• Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure, Microsoft Fabric, Azure OpenAI/Azure AI Foundry, and Power Platform.
• Experience with .NET/C#, microservices, APIs, event-driven architecture, containers, and modern cloud architectures.
• Strong knowledge of Terraform, GitHub/GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, and AI-enabled developer experiences.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills, with experience creating reference architectures, technical standards, Confluence, and Markdown-based documentation.
