Job summary

Impact Networking, LLC is seeking a Modern Workplace & Mobility Implementation Engineer to deliver Microsoft 365 and enterprise mobility solutions for client and internal environments. You’ll deploy, configure, secure, document, and validate modern workplace platforms before transferring them to ongoing support teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 3+ years with Microsoft 365 and mobile device management; MSP/MSSP experience preferred.
• Hands-on with 365 workloads and UEM/EMM: Intune, Jamf Pro, Workspace ONE or similar.
• Knowledge of Teams, Teams Phone, SharePoint, Exchange Online, OneDrive, Power Platform, Windows Autopilot, and device lifecycle management.
• Understanding of Zero Trust, MFA, conditional access, Mobile Threat Defense, app protection policies, and endpoint security controls.
• Experience using PowerShell, REST APIs, or native MDM automation for deployments.
• Familiarity with GDPR and HIPAA audits and policy enforcement.
• Track record delivering technical projects; certifications preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Review project docs, tickets, requirements, prerequisites, and licensing to confirm scope.
• Deploy, configure, and maintain Microsoft 365 workloads (Exchange Online, SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams, Teams Phone, PSTN) using standards.
• Implement and maintain enterprise mobility and UEM like Intune, Jamf Pro, Workspace ONE.
• Support endpoint lifecycle across mobile, desktop, laptop, IoT devices (provisioning, enrollment, config, maintenance, patching, decommissioning).
• Configure device profiles, compliance policies, app protection, and secure access across iOS, Android, Windows, Chrome OS, macOS.
• Apply Zero Trust controls in partnership with security teams.
• Troubleshoot 365 and mobility issues; root cause analysis; escalate unresolved problems.
• Maintain clear technical communication with clients and stakeholders; act as technical POC for deployments.
• Create/update technical docs in IT Glue, HaloPSA, SharePoint for compliance and handoff.
• Ensure delivered solutions meet scope, stability, docs, and handoff criteria before handoff to Service Desk/Ops.
