Job summary

Church of the Highlands is seeking a System Administrator for the Grandview Location in Birmingham, Alabama. This role involves managing the Microsoft 365 cloud environment, including security oversight of Exchange, OneDrive, and SharePoint. The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree in information technology and experience with Microsoft Intune and Jamf. Key responsibilities include configuring security policies, managing user accounts, and monitoring security alerts. This position is vital for supporting academic operations across the college.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Proven experience administering Microsoft 365 environments (Entra ID, Exchange, SharePoint, OneDrive).
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Intune and Jamf for endpoint management.
• Understanding security tools like Microsoft Sentinel and MDR solutions.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain Microsoft 365 services including Entra ID, Exchange, OneDrive, and SharePoint.
• Configure and enforce security and compliance policies.
• Manage user accounts, licenses, and permissions across Microsoft 365.
• Deploy and configure Windows and Apple devices using Intune and Jamf.
• Monitor and respond to security alerts.
