Job summary

SEI Sphere seeks a Microsoft 365 Data Protection & Copilot Architect to lead the design, governance, security, and deployment of Microsoft data protection solutions for enterprise clients. You will guide Copilot adoption, Purview capabilities, and governance across Microsoft 365 environments.

You will partner with security, cloud, and infrastructure teams to ensure data protection and compliance while delivering executive-level guidance and architecture documentation.

Qualifications

• Deep hands-on expertise with Microsoft Purview including DLP and information protection.
• Experience deploying and governing Microsoft 365 Copilot in large enterprises.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 architecture (SharePoint Online, OneDrive, Teams, Exchange Online).
• Experience implementing Zero Trust security principles in cloud environments.
• Ability to develop governance models, architecture documentation, and executive recommendations.
• Experience mentoring engineers or leading technical delivery teams in MSP/MSSP or consulting contexts.

Responsibilities

• Lead client engagements, readiness assessments, executive workshops, and architecture sessions focused on secure Microsoft AI adoption.
• Assess Microsoft 365 environments for permissions hygiene, oversharing, data exposure, and governance maturity; create remediation plans.
• Architect and govern Microsoft 365 Copilot, Copilot Chat, Copilot Studio, AI agents, and data sources.
• Design and implement Purview capabilities including DLP, information protection, and data lifecycle management for AI.
• Establish data protection, Copilot Control System, and AI governance frameworks with reporting and auditing.
• Collaborate with security, cloud, infrastructure, and SOC teams to align AI deployments with Zero Trust.
• Develop reference architectures, roadmaps, runbooks, and client-facing documentation.
• Create adoption and value frameworks using Copilot Analytics and usage reporting to show ROI.

SEI Sphere is seeking a Microsoft 365 Data Protection & Copilot Architect to lead the design, governance, security, and deployment of Microsoft data protection solutions for enterprise clients.
