Job summary

AMS Group, Inc. is seeking a Microsoft 365 Business Central Specialist to join our team in Torrance, CA.

You will document, design, improve, and help implement manufacturing and operational processes in BC, acting as deputy to the lead developer and ensuring end users love the ERP by boosting efficiency and accuracy. You will collaborate across manufacturing, supply chain, and admin functions, create SOPs and training materials, build reports and dashboards with Power BI and Jet Reports, and

Qualifications

• 2–5 years with Microsoft Dynamics 365 BC or NAV (functional or hybrid).
• Manufacturing module proficiency: BOMs, routings, MRP, scheduling, inventory.
• Experience with project/sales processes, time/expense tracking.
• Warehouse management: picks, put-aways, movements, bin tracking.
• Process design, workflow optimization, and documentation experience.
• BC reporting tools: Power BI or Jet Reports familiarity.
• Strong training and end-user support skills; good communication.

Responsibilities

• Assist in designing, testing, and rolling out process improvements within Business Central.
• Develop SOPs, process documentation, and training materials.

• Build and maintain reports, dashboards, and KPIs using BC, Power BI, and Jet Reports.
• Troubleshoot issues and coordinate with technical resources to resolve problems quickly.
• Serve as a functional liaison between users and IT, ensuring clarity in requirements and solutions.

What You’ll Do

Requirements

What We’re Looking For

• 2–5 years of experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central or NAV (functional, or functional/development hybrid).
• Proficient in manufacturing module including BOMs, routings, MRP, production scheduling, and inventory management.
• Proficient with project/job processes, including purchasing, sales, time tracking, and expense tracking.
• Proficient with warehouse management system, including picks, put aways, movements, and bin tracking.
• Experience with process design, workflow optimization, and documentation.
• Proficient with BC reporting tools (Power BI, Jet Reports, or similar).
• Familiarity with full CRM.
• Strong communication and training skills; comfortable working directly with end users.
• AL development knowledge is required — willingness to learn and grow is essential.
• Experience in defense manufacturing or regulated industries is highly desirable.

85k- 130k
