Job summary

AdvancedPCB Holdings, Inc. is seeking a reliable Microsection Lab Operator to join our growing team in California. The role focuses on chemical bath analysis, preparing micro-sections, and ensuring quality through data collection and nonconforming-product control.

The position is full-time with a 3rd shift schedule (11:00 pm–7:30 am) and potential weekend overtime to meet production goals. The ideal candidate has a HS diploma and 3 years PCB manufacturing experience.

AdvancedPCB is seeking a reliable, motivated Microsection Lab Operator to join our growing company. Essential Job Function
  • Perform daily and routine chemical bath analysis and facilitate changes and additions.
  • Prepare and evaluate micro-sections per required specifications.
  • Identify and control nonconforming product.
  • Prepare and perform all statistical data collections required.
Work Schedule

This is a full-time position requiring available to work during standard business hours and mandatory weekend overtime when needed to meet production goals. Shifts may include weekends when schedule details are provided in advance.

Shift Details

Work schedule is 3rd Shift | Monday night through Saturday morning, 11:00 pm to 7:30 am.

Requirements
Essential Qualifications, Education and Experience
  • HS diploma or equivalent
  • Three (3) years minimum experience in PCB manufacturing.
Preferred Additional Skills
  • Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
  • Strong knowledge of complex board manufacturing including but not limited to, military rigid and rigid-flex board manufacturing.
  • Understanding of industry standards and specifications (IPC).
  • Able to effectively communicate with management and supervisory staff.
  • Proficient computer skills with the ability to learn new software.
  • Able to support and implement company safety protocols.
  • The ability to read and understand English.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Good knowledge of chemicals and solutions related to PCB manufacturing.
  • General knowledge of customer drawings, specifications, and industry specifications.
Physical Requirements
  • Computer work for periods up to two hours at a time.
  • Small motor skills used in keyboarding and mousing.
  • Walking on uneven surfaces, ability to walk up and down stairs.
  • Bending at the head and neck.
  • Vision skills required to view into a microscope.
  • Bending at the waist.
Compensation

California Pay Range: $19.00 - $24.00 per hour USD | DOE

The actual compensation offered is based on a wide array of factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, years and depth of experience, certifications, and other relevant business considerations.

ITAR Compliance Requirement

This position requires access to controlled technical data and/or participation in activities subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). As such, all applicants must be U.S. persons, as defined by ITAR (U.S. citizens, U.S. lawful permanent residents, or individuals with refugee/asylee status). Candidates who do not meet ITAR eligibility requirements will not be eligible for employment in this position.
