Job summary

TOKYO ELECTRON AMERICA, INC. in the United States is seeking a microscopy engineering technician to perform tests and experiments in R&D, set up processing equipment, and support yield improvement initiatives.

You will monitor operations, document results, and assist process development and engineering teams, with occasional maintenance duties and safe-working in a cleanroom environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or Associate's Degree with at least 2 years of related experience.
• 4 years of related experience in lieu of degree.
• Military technical training and field experience may substitute for an Associate's Degree.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Performs technical tests and experiments for Microscopy engineering within R&D.
• Performs set up of processing equipment and monitors production operations.
• Audits and provides guidance to line operators.
• Processes test runs and prepares records, charts, and graphs of results for presentation to engineering to identify yield problems or test new products.
• Provides technical assistance to process development and engineering personnel.
• Performs preventative and unscheduled maintenance on process equipment.
