Job summary

RavenVolt, Inc. is seeking experienced Field Service Technicians to support installation, commissioning, testing, repair, and maintenance of Microgrid Switchgear and Control Systems across customer sites.

Candidates must have 5+ years in industrial diesel or natural gas gensets, be able to travel 50–70% overnight, and hold or pursue EGSA certification preferred. Excellent English communication, safety focus, and the ability to work independently in the field are essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of commercial/industrial experience working with diesel and/or natural gas generators, paralleling switchgear, and controllers.
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
• Willingness to travel 50–70% overnight and work Monday through Friday (minimal weekend travel).
• EGSA certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform inspections, field start-ups, commissioning, system modifications, preventative maintenance, and operator training for Microgrid Switchgear and Control Systems.
• Verify proper operation of system components (PLCs, HMIs, metering, relays, breakers) per contract documents.
• Coordinate with third-party vendors and manage onsite startup efforts and upgrades.
• Maintain detailed site visit documentation, including signoffs, trip reports, and version records.
