Job summary

SpaceX is hiring a Microelectronics Technician in Redmond to support the production of high-speed RF and optical modules for Starlink. You will operate die bonders, wire bonders, AOI machines, and related equipment in an ESD-controlled cleanroom, ensuring precision and high-quality output.

Responsibilities include process verification with metrology tools, managing workflow and safety in a fast-paced startup environment, and collaborating with engineers using MS Office and ERP software.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years in electronics manufacturing or cleanroom environment.
• Experience with microelectronics quality standards preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate, maintain, and calibrate microelectronics equipment in a cleanroom.
• Manufacture high-mix, medium-volume RF products with high-precision tools.
• Verify processes using metrology tools to assess epoxy voids and wirebond heights.
• Work independently in a fast-paced startup while managing workflow, safety, and 5S.
• Communicate with engineers and technicians via MS Office and ERP systems.
