Job Location: Sparks, NV 89434. Position Type: Full Time. Salary Range: $21.00 - $22.00 hourly. Job Shift: Overnight.

Position Purpose

The MicroCleaner Lead oversees the day-to‑day cleaning operations and quality programs of specific accounts or group sites.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Coordinates activities by scheduling work assignments, setting priorities, and directing the work of subordinate employees.
  • Evaluates and verifies employee performance through the review of completed work assignments and techniques.
  • Identifies staff development and training needs and ensures that training is obtained.
  • Ensures proper labor relations and conditions of employment are maintained.
  • Maintains records, prepares reports, and composes correspondence relative to the work.
  • Makes rounds to check for crew coverage of designated work areas, assigns needed coverage, gives special cleaning instructions and/or assignments, and ascertains compliance with directives.
  • Maintains records such as reporting and managing employee paid time off.
  • Ensures accurate time keeping and ensures labor law compliance.
  • Performs inventories, reports and related work as assigned.
  • All other duties as defined by supervisor.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one‑year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 1 year of experience in the cleaning and/or janitorial arenas.
  • Versed in safety requirements, equipment use, scheduling and training.
Language Skills
  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
  • Ability to write simple correspondence.
  • Ability to effectively present information in one‑on‑one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
Reasoning Ability
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple one‑ or two‑step instructions.
  • Ability to deal with standardized situations with only occasional or no variables.
