Job summary

Controlled Contamination Services is seeking a Micro-cleaner for night shift in Morrisville, NC. The role focuses on cleaning the cleanroom, controlled environment, and GMP laboratory spaces in a part-time schedule (Mon-Fri, 7:00pm–11:00pm).

The successful candidate will have a high school diploma or GED and be able to follow strict SOPs, perform detailed cleaning, and participate in cGMP training and safety programs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED, or one year related experience.
• Willingness to work night shift.
• Ability to read simple instructions and follow procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform cleaning operations under strict guidelines in cleanrooms and GMP environments.
• Participate in cGMP training, safety programs, and performance improvement.
• Maintain documentation per Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
• Micro-clean all surfaces within controlled environments including ceilings, walls, equipment and floors.
• Follow customer SOPs with precise documentation.
• Identify deviations in cleaning and contribute to corrective and preventative actions.
• Assist in cross-training of personnel.
• Ability to read and write simple correspondence.
• Present information clearly in one-on-one and small group settings to customers and coworkers.
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

POSITION PURPOSE:

The Micro-cleaner is a critical role in the company which ensures the proper cleaning of the cleanroom, controlled environment and GMP laboratory environments.

SCHEDULE:

Part Time- Monday- Friday 7:00pm-11:00pm

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Perform cleaning operations under strict guidelines. Continually monitor the cleanroom cleaning procedures to ensuring all cleanings are completed promptly and correctly.
• Responsible for participating in continuous training: cGMP training, technical skills, safety, performance improvement.
• Normal responsibilities include detail document control (using Good Manufacturing Practices).
• Normal duties include but are not limited to micro-cleaning all surfaces within the controlled environment including ceilings, walls, equipment and floors.
• The ability to follow customer standard operating procedures in precise detail including documentation.
• Identify deviations in cleaning and follow through on corrective and preventative actions (variances).
• Review change to cGMP documentation and re-train.
• Assist in the cross training of other Controlled Contamination Services personnel.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
• Ability to write simple correspondence.
• Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
• All other duties as defined by supervisor.

PRIMARY RESULTS ACCOUNTABLE FOR ACHIEVING:

• Must become familiar with cleaning chemical components and safety requirements.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality.

Qualifications

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE: High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
