Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 1 year of college science with lab experience.
• 1 year college mathematics (algebra, geometry, trig, or calculus).

Responsibilities

• Carry out the approved tests to support manufacturing lab.
• Apply high quality microbiology techniques to ingredients, in-process samples, finished product testing and environmental monitoring.
• Complete appropriate documentation, audit and release of commodities or products.
• Complete housekeeping responsibilities including autoclave, waste disposal, and sanitation.
• Prepare media for test procedures.
• Demonstrate accountability for EHS performance and compliance.
• Collaborate with fellow technicians with clear communication and attention to detail.
• Perform testing as instructed and train accordingly.
• Troubleshoot when results are out of specification to identify causes.
