Job summary

Eurofins USA BioPharma Services in Lancaster, PA is seeking a Full-Time, Second Shift laboratory analyst to perform analytical testing of bio/pharmaceutical ingredients and products. You will work under guidance with an experienced mentor, ensuring data quality and adherence to GMP/GLP.

The role requires basic lab experience, safe aseptic technique, and ability to prepare media and cultures. Strong documentation and data processing skills are essential for delivering accurate results.

Qualifications

  • High School diploma or equivalent with some lab experience or college courses.
  • Ability to work in the US without sponsorship.
  • Experience with microscopes and biosafety cabinets.
  • Media preparation and organism/culture preparation.
  • Aseptic technique.

Responsibilities

  • Adheres to GMP/GLP in all areas of responsibility.
  • Maintains high quality standards in all tasks.
  • Demonstrates strong client service and effective communication.

Job Description

This role is Second Shift 3pm-11pm

Completing all training in a timely and complete manner; working with an experienced analyst/mentor performing various tasks and analyses of Bio/pharmaceutical ingredients and products; reviewing or preparing standards and samples for analysis and running any equipment or instrumentation independently and/or with guidance; working efficiently; ensuring that the client receives quality data by reviewing laboratory data for accuracy, clarity, and adherence to GMP and/or GLP regulations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Applies GMP/GLP in all areas of responsibility, as appropriate
  • Applies the highest quality standard in all areas of responsibility
  • Demonstrates strong client service skills, communicate effectively, both orally and in writing
  • Meets all quality and productivity metrics and demonstrates strong teamwork and collaboration
  • Regular attendance and punctuality
  • Performs laboratory operations with good dexterity, good laboratory technique, and high degree of accuracy and precision
  • Perform/Review preparations of reagents, samples, and standards according to procedures.
  • Document testing, observations, deviations, and results clearly and completely, and in compliance with regulatory requirements - striving to minimize errors
  • Read and understand analytical procedures (compendial and client supplied) and internal SOP's
  • Use MS Windows applications such as Excel, Word, Outlook email
  • Process data, generate reports, and evaluate data
  • Perform laboratory maintenance and maintain clean workspace
  • Commitment to occasional overtime as workload requires

Additional Information

Working schedule will be Full-Time, Second Shift, M-F 3pm-11pm. Candidates currently living within a commutable distance of Lancaster, PA are encouraged to apply. No relocation assistance will be given. 25% travel may be required. This position is NOT remote.
