Job summary

Grand Canyon University is seeking a part-time Instructional Assistant in the College of Natural Sciences. You will support program instruction, use current teaching methods and technologies, and help ensure accreditation standards are met.

The role requires a bachelor’s or higher in microbiology (or related with microbiology coursework), strong communication, and a commitment to a Christ-centered environment. Two days per week on campus preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or higher in Microbiology, or related with microbiology coursework.
• Grade of B or higher in each relevant course.
• Strong communication and APA formatting skills.

Responsibilities

• Support instruction using up-to-date teaching methods and technology.
• Ensure alignment with program accreditation requirements.
• Be available to work on GCU’s Main Campus at least two days per week.
• Contribute to the university community and align with its mission.
• Model and uphold GCU’s Doctrinal Statement, Ethical Position Statement, and mission.
