Pacific BioLabs, Inc. is seeking an experienced Microbiology Services Assistant Manager to oversee operations in a regulated cGMP/GLP environment.

This onsite role reports to the Microbiology Services Manager and combines hands-on technical work with leadership responsibilities, supervising Analysts and Technicians while supporting staff development and quality initiatives. The position emphasizes client service, regulatory compliance, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure study

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or higher in Microbiology, Biological Sciences, or related discipline.
• Advanced knowledge of USP, European Pharmacopoeia, and AAMI guidelines.
• Minimum 4 years of microbiology lab experience in pharma/medical device/CRO/biotech.
• Leadership or supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain processes ensuring client service quality and timely study execution.
• Lead department initiatives to improve client satisfaction and lab performance.
• Oversee microbiology studies, scheduling, data review, and report approval.
• Develop and implement SOPs, test methods, and study protocols.
