The position involves performing microbiological testing of pharmaceutical products, raw materials and medical devices, following USP/ASTM/CLSI methods, maintaining lab notebooks and supporting instrument calibration and GDP-compliant documentation.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of industrial microbiology experience, R&D or QC.
• BS degree in Microbiology or Biological Sciences.
• Experience with aseptic techniques in pharma or medical devices.

Responsibilities

• Perform microbiological testing of products, raw materials, and devices under supervision.
• Perform routine and non-routine USP, ASTM and CLSI tests (time-kill, MIC/MBC, sterility, bioburden).
• Maintain lab, prepare media/reagents, label plates and tubes, restock supplies.
• Work within SOPs and GDP/quality guidelines.
• Prepare and present data at lab meetings.
• Maintain inventory of media and reagents.
• Assist in qualification and validation of equipment.
• Maintain laboratory notebooks with proper documentation.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
