Job summary

Qualifications

• Requires High School diploma or equivalent.
• Undergraduate science degree preferred (microbiology, chemistry, biology, etc.).
• Basic computer skills (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• Strong organizational and analytical abilities.
• Ability to work in a team and follow SOPs.
• Ability to read and understand laboratory procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine microbiological testing procedures according to SOPs.
• Document sample processing and assay results.
• Enter data and maintain accurate identification matching for samples.
• Operate basic lab equipment (balances, pH meter).
• Prepare and verify standards and reagents for analyses.
• Generate data, interpret results, and report findings to supervisor.
• Support GMP, food safety, and regulatory compliance requirements.
• Attend to all duties in a timely, safe manner as assigned.
