Qualifications

• Current licensure as required by state board where services will be provided.
• BS in Medical Technology/Clinical Lab Science or a chemical/biological science degree (or 30+ years experience with CLIA grandfathered exception).
• Preferred: ASCP or AMT certification.

Responsibilities

• Process and analyze clinical samples in a timely, accurate manner following procedures.
• Set up, run, maintain, and adjust laboratory instruments per policy.
• Perform quality control and infection control procedures.
• Perform phlebotomy as needed.
• Document and report findings to nurses/physicians.
• Collaborate with healthcare staff to interpret results.
