Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with coursework to meet ASCP certification requirements for MLS/MT/Specialist (ASCP) or MT(HEW).
• Ability to work cooperatively with all personalities.

Responsibilities

• Performs clinical laboratory tests across hematology, immunohematology, chemistry, bacteriology, mycology, serology, parasitology, endocrinology, immunology, and urinalysis as applicable.
• Maintains safe, clean lab environment and follows procedures and regulations.
• Maintains inventory and manages supplies, equipment maintenance, and quality controls.
• Interprets test results, reports findings, mentors staff, and participates in proficiency testing and continuing education.
