Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in biological sciences, chemistry or mathematics with NAACLS MLS/MT or ASCP certification eligibility.
• Experience in an accredited clinical laboratory is preferred.
• Certification by ASCP, NCA, AMT or HEW or equivalent is required or eligible within 180 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of microbiology tests on patient samples.
• Operate microscopes and biomedical instrumentation.
• Input data and communicate results to physicians.
• Maintain quality control and safety procedures in the lab.
• Adhere to departmental policies and regulatory requirements.
