Job summary

Piedmont Atlanta Hospital is seeking a skilled Medical Technologist to join the Laboratory team in Atlanta, GA. You will independently perform laboratory procedures and testing across patient ages, applying your training and competency to deliver accurate results promptly.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED with approved testing/certification credentials; a Bachelor's in a life or biological science is preferred, with ASCP/AMT/AAB certification as required.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED with sufficient college/technical training and clinical to satisfy testing/certification requirements.
• Bachelor's degree in clinical laboratory science or life sciences preferred.

Responsibilities

• Independently performs laboratory procedures for which trained and competency is demonstrated.
• Independently performs laboratory testing on patients of all ages with professional knowledge, executing, interpreting and analyzing accurately and timely.
