Job summary

Oxoid Remel Microbiology in Lenexa, KS is hiring a Manufacturing Operator to carry out production tasks by closely following SOPs and work instructions, handling materials, operating equipment and packaging finished goods.

No prior experience is required; manufacturing or lab background is a plus. Candidates should be able to stand for long shifts, lift up to 50 lbs, and work in a GMP environment with comprehensive benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• No previous work experience required.
• Previous experience in manufacturing, operations, production or lab setting or related field preferred.
• Experience in a cGMP environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Follow all written procedures and report discrepancies in procedures to the Area Supervisor.
• Wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) when needed.
• Perform all work activities in a safe manner and maintain a clean, organized area.
• Read, understand, and complete required documentation in English with accuracy.
• Set up and adjust machines to operate a variety of sizes and types using tools.
• Actively engage in suggesting process improvements and teamwork.
