Job summary

Oxoid Remel Microbiology in Lenexa, KS, is seeking a Manufacturing Operator to join our GMP environment. You will closely follow SOPs and work instructions to assemble, handle materials, operate equipment, and package finished goods, contributing to safe and effective microbiology products.

You will wear PPE as required, maintain a clean workspace, document activities accurately, and participate in process improvements while collaborating with team members to ensure quality and on-time

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• No previous work experience required; manufacturing/ops/lab experience preferred.
• Basic English communication and math skills required.

Responsibilities

• Follow SOPs and work instructions and report discrepancies to the Area Supervisor.
• Wear PPE as required and maintain a safe, clean work area.
• Operate assigned machinery and perform simple maintenance; report malfunctions.
• Read, understand, and complete required documentation accurately and neatly.
• Set up and adjust machines to handle different sizes and types using tools.
• Actively participate in process improvement and teamwork to ensure quality.
