Job summary

Oxoid Remel Microbiology is seeking a Manufacturing Operator for the second shift in Lenexa, KS. You will follow SOPs, operate and maintain equipment, and ensure safe handling of materials in a GMP environment.

Responsibilities include following procedures, wearing PPE as required, documenting activities, and contributing to process improvements while upholding a culture of teamwork and quality.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• No previous work experience required.
• Experience in manufacturing, operations, production or lab setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Follow all written procedures and report discrepancies in procedures (SOP’s, DHR’s, etc.) to the Area Supervisor.
• Wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) when needed. Refer to job specific job Safety Analysis.
• Perform all work activities in a safe manner. Maintain a safe and clutter free work area. Clean up all spills immediately.
• Read, understand, and complete required documentation. All paperwork shall be accurately and neatly completed in accordance with established policies and procedures.
• Set up and adjust machine to operate a variety of sizes and types using tools to adjust machine.
• Actively engage in making suggestions for process improvement.
• Encourage an atmosphere of partnership.
