Apex Systems is seeking a Microbiology Lab Technician I to support a growing personal care product company's microbiology team. You will perform routine microbiology testing, environmental monitoring, and QA-related duties in a high-volume lab.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree in a science and familiarity with aseptic techniques, GMP, and SOPs. This role offers a structured path in a compliant lab environment with safety as a priority.

Qualifications

• Familiar with basic lab skills of aseptic techniques.
• Familiar with Safety Data Sheet (SDS).
• Good visual observation skills.
• Familiar with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
• Able to follow Standard Operation Procedures.
• Ability to multitask.
• Ability to work in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine microbiology testing on incoming samples.
• Monitor quality and safety of purified water system.
• Conduct environmental monitoring of manufacturing area weekly.
• Verify pH meters and record results daily.
• Prepare microbiological media and maintain it properly.
• Operate lab equipment including sterilizers, microscopes, and pipettes.
• Maintain accurate logs and documentation for samples.
