Job summary

St Mary’s Health Care System’s Microbiology Lab in Athens, GA is seeking an MLT/MT PRN for the Day shift. The role involves performing and reporting laboratory procedures to support quality patient care under the supervision of the microbiology team.

Requirements include MT licensure (ASCP/AMT/NCA/HHS), a relevant degree (HS diploma or B.S. in Medical Technology or Applied Sciences) and at least 1 year of MT/MLT experience, with preferred microbiology lab exposure.

Qualifications

• Licensure/Certification/Registration: MT (ASCP, AMT, NCA or HHS)
• Education: High School Diploma, B.S. in Medical Technology or Applied Sciences, 2 years' experience and an alternate method of obtaining MT may be substituted for degree.
• Experience: Must have at least 1yr exp as an MLT or MT. Previous experience in the Micro Lab is preferred
