Job summary

St. Mary’s Health Care System in Athens, GA seeks a part-time Medical Technologist or Medical Lab Technologist, PRN, for weekend shifts in the Laboratory. You will perform and report laboratory procedures to support physicians and patient care.

Candidates must hold MT/MLT licensure or be eligible, with a B.S. in Medical Technology or Applied Sciences and at least 1 year of relevant experience; an alternate MT/MLT pathway may be considered.

Qualifications

• Licensure/Certification/Registration: MT/MLT (ASCP, AMT, NCA or HHS) or eligible is required.
• Education: B.S. in Medical Technology or Applied Sciences.
• Experience: 2 years' experience; alternate MT/MLT pathway may substitute for degree.

Schedule:

What you will do:

Accurately Performs and reports laboratory procedures to meet the needs and expectations of the physician’s in providing quality patient care.

What you will need:

• Licensure/Certification/Registration: MT/MLT (ASCP, AMT, NCA or HHS) or eligible is required Education: High School Diploma, B.S. in Medical Technology or Applied Sciences, 2 years' experience and an alternate method of obtaining MT/MLT may be substituted for degree.
• Experience: Prefer at least 1yr exp as Medical Technologist or Medical Lab Technologist
