Actalent in Chanhassen, MN is seeking a Microbiology Lab Technician to perform microbial testing on environmental samples, raw materials, and finished products, ensuring quality and regulatory compliance.

You will log results, calibrate instruments, and participate in root cause investigations, while contributing to SOP revisions and new testing protocols, including aseptic technique and environmental monitoring.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree in Microbiology or related field.
• 1–3 years of microbiology lab experience preferred.
• Hands-on microbiology techniques including microbial limit testing.
• Safe handling of samples and lab equipment in a controlled environment.
• Strong data recording and documentation skills.
• Ability to work independently in a small team.

Responsabilidades

• Perform microbial limit tests on environmental, raw material, in-process, and finished product samples to meet quality standards and regulatory requirements.
• Log observations, test results, and conclusions accurately in established protocols.
• Maintain, clean, calibrate and verify laboratory instruments for reliable measurements.
• Participate in root cause analysis for contamination events and assist corrective actions.
• Revise SOPs and workflows to reflect current practices and improvements.
• Design and implement new microbiological testing protocols as needed.
