Federal Package Network, Inc. in Chanhassen, MN, is seeking a Microbiology Supervisor to lead the Laboratory while performing testing and ensuring quality.

You will guide daily operations, troubleshoot issues, and drive continuous improvement in microbiological controls and compliance with FDA, cGMP, GLP, and GDP standards. The role blends hands-on testing with people leadership, requiring excellent communication, problem-solving, and the ability to balance throughput with regulatory

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in Microbiology or related field.
• 5+ years progressive microbiological testing experience in regulated manufacturing.
• Hands-on microbiological testing and laboratory equipment experience.
• Knowledge of GMP, FDA regulations, investigations.
• Experience training or guiding laboratory personnel.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

Responsabilidades

• Lead and develop the Microbiology Laboratory while actively testing and overseeing daily operations.
• Perform microbiological testing, prepare samples, operate equipment, analyze results, and troubleshoot issues.
• Develop and improve microbiological testing methods and internal procedures.
• Train and provide technical guidance to laboratory personnel.
• Ensure compliance with FDA regulations, cGMP, GLP, GDP, and company procedures.
• Communicate OOS results, document deviations, and support investigations and corrective actions.
• Monitor microbiological trends and suggest process improvements.
• Manage third-party labs, budgeting, and equipment maintenance/calibration.
• Evaluate new equipment and support qualification activities (IQ/OQ/PQ).
• Collaborate with Quality, Production, and R&D to maintain product quality.
